Sun Valley Hosts State Hockey Championships

SUN VALLEY, ID - The Sun Valley Skating Center at Sun Valley Resort will host the 2012 Idaho State High School Hockey Championships, Thursday, February 23 through Sunday, February 26.

Fourteen teams from throughout the state of Idaho will compete in 24 games, the largest event in the tournament's history.

The championships kick off with the opening game, Thursday, February 23 at 8:15 pm with the Sun Valley Suns high school team competing against Salmon High School.

Hockey action will continue from 7 am to 9:45 pm Friday and Saturday with the Semi Finals and Championship games beginning at 9 am, Sunday, February 26.

All events will take place on the Sun Valley Indoor Ice Rink.
